Valvovan viranomaisen (SYKE ja Luke) ylläpitämä rekisteri geenivarojen ja niihin liittyvän perinteisen tiedon maahantuonnista. Ulkomailta maahantuotujen geenivarojen ja niihin liittyvän perinteisen tiedon valvonta ja seuranta. Esimerkkinä tutkimus ja kehityskäyttöön tuotavat kasvit, eläimet, mikrobit tai niiden osat.
