Pro Quality Data-projektissa mallinnettu päivittäinen sameus, 2009&2011 / Daily turbidity modelled in the Pro Quality Data project 2009&2011

[FI] Satelliitti- ja in-situaineistoja yhdistämällä laskettu päivittäinen sameusmallinnustulos käyttämällä Ensemble Kalman Smoother-menetelmää. Tässä vedenlaatuparametri on estimoitu myös alueille ja ajanhetkille joista ei ole saatavilla havaintoja mm. pilvisyyden vuoksi. Lähtöaineistona on käytetty MERIS-intrumentin sameustulkintaa, vedenlaadun automaattimittauksia sekä vesinäytteistä tehtyjä sameusmäärityksiä. Aineisto on tuotettu Pro Quality Data -projektissa.

Aineiston ajallinen ja alueelinen kattavuus: Säkylän Pyhäjärvi kesäkuu 2009, Helsingin edusta, rannikko kesäkuu 2011.

[EN] Daily turbidity modeling result has been calculated by combining satellite and in-situ data with Ensemble Kalman Smoother. The water quality parameter has also been estimated for areas and time points for which no observations are available, e.g. due to cloudiness. The turbidity interpretation from the MERIS instrument, automatic water quality measurements and turbidity determinations made from water samples have been used as source datasets. Data has been produced in the Pro Quality Data project.
