Lineage Information | Aineisto on tuotettu Ilmatieteen laitoksen tuuliaineistoa hyödyntäen ja laskettu ns. Isaeuksen yksinkertaista aaltomallia (Simplified Wave Exposure Model, SWM) hyödyntäen (katso liitedokumentti). Aineisto kattaa koko Suomen rannikkoalueet ja on resoluutioltaan 25 m. Aineistoa varten on arvioitu rantaviivan tarkkuus, rannikon jako laskentayksiköihin, tuuliaineiston laskenta, saarten ja muiden maa-alueiden vaikutus tuulen vapaaseen etenemiseen sekä aaltoekspositiogridien laskenta. Aineisto on luokiteltu seitsemään luokkaan noudatellen EUNIS-luokittelua, jota on sovellettu huomioiden Suomen rannikon matalat alueet. Wave exposure grids cover the entire Finnish coast and were calculated using the method of SWM (see attachement). A nested-grids technique was used to ensure long distance effects on the local wave exposure regime, and the resulting grids have a resolution of 25 m. The methods used and described in this report includes: evaluation of shoreline source map, division of shoreline into suitable calculation areas, converting shape features into grids, recalculation of wind data, calculation of fetch adjusted for refraction/diffraction effects, calculation of wave exposure grids, and merging the separate grids into a seamless description of wave exposure along the Finnish coast. Data has been classified to seven EUNIS-classes, where two additional classes have been added due to the sheltered and shallow sea areas of the Finnish coast. Materialet har producerats med hjälp av Meterorologiska institutets vindmaterial och metoden för att skapa enkla vågmodeller (Simplified Wave Exposure Model, SWM, av Isaeus m.fl., se bifogat dokument). Materialet täcker hela Finlands kustområde och resolutionen är 25x25 m. För materialet har kustlinjens noggrannhet uppskattats och kusten delats in i beräkningsenheter samt har det använts vågexponeringsrutor, vindberäkningar och uppskattningar om hur öar och andra landområden påverkar vinden. Materialet är indelat i 7 klasser som enligt EUNIS-klassificeringssystemet, modifierade så att de beaktar Finlands kusts grunda områden. |
