Lineage Information | Aineistona käytettiin Hertta-tietokannan ja t/a Arandan pinnanläheisiä suolaisuusmittauksia vuosilta 2004 – 2015. Suolaisuusmittaukset keskiarvoistettiin kesäkuukausille (kesäkuu-elokuu). Jokien vaikutus huomioitiin mallissa painottamalla 52 suurimman joen keskimääräisiä virtaamia. Mallin luotettavuus on parempi rannikolla verrattuna avomerialueisiin mittauksien epätasaisesta spatiaalisesta jakaumasta johtuen. Original data used for the model was derived from Hertta-database. In addition, limnos- and ctd water samples of r/v Aranda were included from the years 2004 – 2015. Salinity recordings were averaged for the summer months (June-August). The effect of rivers was considered by weighting the model with the average flow rate of the 52 largest rivers in the Finnish coast. Model reliability is better near coast than in the open sea due to the uneven spatial distribution of salinity recordings. För modelleringen användes Hertta databasen och R/V Arandas salthaltighetsmätningar från havsytan från åren 2004 – 2015. Salthaltighetsmätningarna gavs ett medeltal för sommarmånaderna (juni-augusti). Flodernas påverkan togs i beaktan genom att de 52 största flodernas strömningsvolym gavs ett medeltal och betonades. Modellens pålitlighet är bättre vid kusten än vid öppna havsområden på grund av mätningsplatsernas ojämna rumsliga fördelning. |
