Järvi-meriwiki -verkkopalvelu

Järvi-meriwiki on Suomen järvien ja merialueiden oma wiki eli verkkopalvelu, jota rakennetaan ja julkaistaan käyttäjien yhteistyöllä. Järvi-meriwikistä löytyy perustiedot kaikista yli yhden hehtaarin kokoisesta järvestämme ja rannikon merialueista sekä valmiit työkalut, joilla käyttäjät voivat jakaa muun muassa valokuvia ja ylläpitää omaa havaintopaikkaa. Järvi-meriwikin ensimmäinen versio julkaistiin maaliskuussa 2011.

Järvi-meriwikin tavoitteena on jakaa tietoa Suomen järvistä ja merialueista, edistää vesien- ja merensuojelua ja lisätä kiinnostusta lähivesistöihin yhdessä tekemällä, positiivisia asioita painottamalla ja ketään syyttämättä.

Kuka tahansa voi tallentaa Järvi-meriwikiin omia havaintojaan. Havainnoista muodostuu itselle havaintoarkisto ja ne hyödyttävät muita vesistön käyttäjiä. Kaikki havavaintoja tallentavat sitoutuvat niiden julkaisemiseen Creative Commons Nimeä 4.0 -lisenssin mukaisesti.
