HUB BIOTOOPPILUOKITUS

Karttatasossa on muunnettu Velmu-hankkeen sukellus ja videointiaineisto vuosilta 2004–2017 HELCOM HUB –biotooppiluokituksen mukaisiksi luokiksi. Luokitus helpottaa jäsentämään inventointiaineiston suurta tietomäärää ja sitä voidaan käyttää merialuesuunnittelun tukena. Luokituksen avulla voidaan saada nopeasti käsitys laajallakin alueella esiintyvistä pohjan biotoopeista. Biotoopit on karttatasossa visualisoitu eliöryhmien ja dominoivien lajien mukaan. Luokitus sisältää myös tiedon pohjan substraatista sekä valoisuusoloista. Luokitusta kehitetään biomassalaskujen osalta ja aineistoa päivitetään työn edetessä.


HUB BIOTOPE CLASSIFICATION

The data set shows the Velmu programme dive and video data from years 2004–2017 converted to the HELCOM HUB biotope classification. The classification helps to understand a vast set of information of the inventory data and it can be used to support maritime spatial planning. The classification enables to easily understand the presence of the wide-ranging bottom biotopes. Biotopes have been visualized in the data set by species groups and dominant species. The classification includes also information on the bottom substrate and light conditions. The classification will be developed by the biomass calculations and the data will be updated as the work progresses.


HUB-BIOTOPKLASSIFICERINGSSYSTEM

Kartlagret innehåller video- och dykdata (2004–2017) insamlat inom Velmu-programme, som har klassificerats enligt HELCOM HUB-biotopklassificeringssystemet. Klassificeringen hjälper till att tolka den stora informationsmängden i inventeringsdata på ett sätt som kan utnyttjas vid havsplanering. Med hjälp av klassificeringen kan man få lätt en helhetsbild över förekomsten av undervattensbiotoper, till och mid över rätt vidsträckta områden. Biotoperna är klassificerade enligt de dominerande organismgrupperna och de dominerande arterna. Klassificeringssystemet innehåller också information om bottensubstrat och ljusförhållanden. Klassificeringen kommer att vidareutvecklas vad gäller biomassakalkyleringarna och kartlagret kommer att uppdateras vartefter arbetet fortskrider.
